What does the treatment feel like?
You simply relax while the pads are secured over the selected treatment area. You may notice a gentle warmth, but the treatment should not be painful or uncomfortable.
There are no needles, no incisions and no downtime, so you can return to your normal day afterwards.
When will I see results?
Body contouring is a process, not a quick fix. Results vary depending on your body, lifestyle, treatment area and individual goals. A course of treatments may be recommended, and LED/Lipo Pads can be combined with other modalities when appropriate.
LED/Lipo Pads are a non-invasive body contouring treatment that uses low-level red light energy, also known as photobiomodulation, applied directly to targeted areas of the body. The treatment is comfortable, gentle and requires no downtime.
How does it work?
The pads emit specific wavelengths of red light that penetrate the skin and interact with the underlying tissue. Unlike treatments that use significant heat, LED therapy works through light energy rather than thermal energy.
Research into low-level light therapy suggests that certain wavelengths may influence cellular activity within adipose tissue and may temporarily alter fat-cell membranes, allowing stored lipids to be released. These lipids then need to be processed naturally by the body.
For this reason, I use LED/Lipo Pads as part of a considered body-contouring plan, rather than presenting them as an instant fat-loss treatment.
